Junior Traders – Jhb / Cape Town / Durban
We are seeking Junior Traders to join our Finance Team at our Johannesburg /Cape Town and Durban branches. The ideal candidate would preferably need to have a finance background. The qualified individual would need to have a strong working knowledge of markets and the strategies employed to manage risk. This position is part of the corporate finance function and will interact with multiple departments in different countries on a daily basis. The candidate must be able to provide a proven track record, have a high moral standing and be a clear and confident communicator.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responds to live client emails. Inquiries include questions about trading platforms, the market trading strategies and more
- Conducts several types of calls to clients with the goal of educating clients about trading
- Presents daily market updates to the Sales and Financial Services teams in your office
- Conducts forum updates. This includes adding, removing, and editing information on forums
- Performs competitor analysis and presents findings to management and employees
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
